Who we are
AI Owen Sound helps small service businesses in Owen Sound and Grey Bruce set up practical AI automation. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean AI Owen Sound. We handle personal information in line with Canada's private-sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, call us, or text us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you give it
- Your business name, your town, and the kind of work you do
- What you need help with, and anything else you choose to tell us
If you call, we may keep a record of the call, such as the time, your number, and notes about what you asked for. Our forms may also record basic technical details, such as the page you were on when you sent the form.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- Reply to your call, note, or form
- Talk through what your business needs and give you a quote
- Set up and support the services you ask for
- Send you messages about your request or your service
- Keep basic business records
We only use your information for these purposes. If we ever want to use it for something new, we will tell you and ask for your consent first.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, and the services you ask for. How often we text depends on your request. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop getting texts from us.
- Reply HELP for help, or call (807) 790-0776.
Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. We do not share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run our website forms, customer records, phone, and messaging. They handle your information only to provide those services to us, and we expect them to protect it. Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not pass your contact details to other businesses for their own use.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as limiting who can see it and using secure, password-protected systems. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Cookies
Our website and forms may use cookies and similar tools so that forms work properly and so we can understand basic site use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work as well.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. You can also withdraw your consent to texts or other messages at any time. We will respond within 30 days.
